Jane M. Tucker, Ph.D.
Founder
Dr. Jane M. Tucker is a retired police officer, criminal justice educator, peer support practitioner, and Approved Instructor with the International Critical Incident Stress Foundation (ICISF). She is a full-time professor at West Chester University of Pennsylvania and serves as the Operational Coordinator for the Eastern Pennsylvania Regional Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) Team, which provides crisis intervention and peer support services to first responders across six counties in Pennsylvania.
Over the past decade, Dr. Tucker has provided CISM and crisis intervention training to hundreds of first responders, healthcare professionals, social workers, counselors, chaplains, clergy, and disaster response personnel. Drawing on her law enforcement experience and advanced training / experience in crisis intervention with first responders, she delivers engaging, practical, and evidence-based training programs focused on peer-support, wellness, and resilience, and self-care for peer support personnel.
Dr. Tucker has published several peer-reviewed research articles on police officer and first responder stress and stress interventions and has presented research findings at at academic conferences, such as the American Society of Criminologists (ASC), the Academy of Criminal Justice Sciences (ACJS), and the Northeastern Association of Criminal Justice Sciences (NEACJS) of Criminal Justice. She has been recognized by the American Academy of Experts in Traumatic Stress and the National Center for Crisis Management for her contributions to the field. Through her teaching, research, training, and leadership, Dr. Tucker remains dedicated to supporting the mental health and well-being of first responders and other helping professionals.

Presentations may be customized to meet the specific needs of agencies, professional associations, conferences, educational institutions, and community organizations.
